Overview:

Graham has more than 30 years’ experience as Project Manager / Portfolio Manager leading cultural change and use of technology to transform a diverse range of organisations. Originally in the Construction / Manufacturing sector however more recently in the financial / aviation sector utilising his Engineering roots.

One of his major achievements was the challenge of developing and successfully implementing a schedule based financial system to manage a corporation which built Power Stations, Dams, Roads, Tunnels, Bridges, Skyscrapers, Naval frigates, Oil Rigs, Oil Refineries, Airplanes, Pipelines, Power Transmission lines, operated large Fabrication Workshops as well as operated 3 wineries in a business across Australia and South East Asia.

As a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Graham also has insight into corporate governance requirements. Recently Graham has been in corporate roles but comes from a project base and has been a construction Project Consortium Manager (Worsley Alumina Cogen Power Station) so does understand the construction issues.

Graham applies construction project management concepts such as accountability, organisational clarity, partnering principles, solution innovation and risk profiling & management to successfully deliver corporate change. Companies in which he has successfully implemented change are Transfield, QANTAS, Commonwealth Bank, BT (Westpac finance arm), Telstra, AMP, Treasury Corporation of NSW. This skill set could be well utilised in a number of other organisations to enhance efficiencies.

Graham’s management style as inclusive but with a high degree of delegation and accountability. Graham brings valuable insight for clients, particularly in respect of Corporate Governance and Change Management both Cultural and Technological.
